Request Account Deletion
Your data and privacy are important to us. You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal information at any time, free of charge.
How to Request Deletion
You can request account deletion in two ways:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Log in to your Fieldtalk Foundation account
- Navigate to Settings (account menu)
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your request
This is the fastest way to request deletion.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to info@fieldtalkfoundation.org with:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Optional: brief reason for deletion
We will respond to confirm and process your request.
What Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will remove the following information associated with your account:
Profile Information
- • Your name and email address
- • Phone number (if provided)
- • Account preferences and settings
Player & Participation Data
- • Your player profile (if applicable)
- • Team registrations and roster entries
- • Game attendance and participation records (will be anonymized in historical data)
User-Generated Content
- • Photos and videos you uploaded
- • Messages and comments (except where moderation required)
- • Personal notes and saved information
Data We May Retain
In certain limited circumstances, we may retain minimal data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
Legal & Compliance Records
We may retain records required by tax law, donation/payment processing, or legal obligations for up to 7 years in fully anonymized form.
Safety & Fraud Prevention
Minimal records may be kept to prevent abuse and ensure community safety, in anonymized and aggregated form.
Aggregate/Statistical Data
Anonymized data used for impact reporting and program evaluation is retained. You will not be identifiable in this data.
Backup Systems
Data in backup systems will be deleted according to our standard retention schedule (typically within 90 days).
Processing Timeline
30 Days
All deletion requests are processed and completed within 30 days of your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Important Notes
Account Deletion is Permanent: Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. All associated data will be removed from active systems.
Youth Players: Parents and guardians can request deletion of their child's data at any time through the Parent Portal or by emailing us.
No Cost: Account deletion requests are always free. We will never charge you for exercising your privacy rights.
