Community Spotlight
Feature youth participants, volunteers, and community members on the homepage.
Finding His Team, Finding Himself
Tyler Brooks
Youth Player, U12
Tyler was quiet and withdrawn when he first joined our program. Through the support of coaches and teammates, he's become one of the most encouraging players on his squad — always the first to celebrate a teammate's goal.
Capturing Joy, One Frame at a Time
Priya Patel
Volunteer Photographer
Priya brings her camera to every community event, capturing the smiles, victories, and friendships that define Fieldtalk. Her photos have been featured across our social media and helped tell our impact story to new partners.
Building Champions On and Off the Field
DeMarcus Johnson
Head Coach
A former semi-pro player, DeMarcus has coached in our youth program for three seasons. He focuses on fundamentals, character, and creating a space where every kid feels they belong — regardless of skill level.
Telling Stories On and Off the Pitch
Sofia Ramirez
Media Storyteller
Through our Media & Storytelling program, Sofia discovered a passion for journalism. She's covered three MLS matches as a credentialed youth reporter, interviewed players, and published articles that showcase the human side of the game.
200+ Hours of Giving Back
James Liu
Volunteer Coach
James started as a weekend volunteer and quickly became one of our most reliable coaches. He leads Saturday pickup sessions, organizes equipment drives, and has logged over 200 volunteer hours in the past year alone.
From First Touch to Team Captain
Maria Gonzalez
Youth Player, U14
Maria joined our MLS GO league two seasons ago never having played organized soccer. Today she captains her team, mentors younger players, and dreams of playing in college. Her grit and positivity inspire everyone around her.
Community Highlight #002 | Growing Together
MONDAY NIGHT SOCCER
Every Monday, our community grows a little stronger. What began as a simple pickup game in Huntington Beach has become a place where new players are welcomed, familiar faces return, and the level of competition continues to rise. But beyond the football, something even more important is happening—people are building friendships, finding community, and creating a place where everyone belongs. At Fieldtalk Foundation, we believe football changes lives when everyone has a chance to be involved. As we continue exploring opportunities to bring the game to more communities, our commitment remains the same: keep football accessible, strengthen local connections, and work alongside volunteers, coaches, businesses, and supporters who believe that every person deserves a chance to be part of the game.
Community Engagement in Action
MONDAY NIGHT SOCCER
Six teams, 60+ players, and an adidas Copa cleat activation turned another Monday night into a community experience. Fieldtalk Foundation continues to connect brands with local players through meaningful, on-field engagement.
